FAQs

What To Know Before Your Visit

At Chattanooga Men’s Clinic, your comfort and privacy are our top priorities. We understand that discussing sexual health can be difficult, but our experienced and professional team is here to support you every step of the way. To ensure the most effective treatment, we ask that you be as open and honest as possible with our medical staff. This transparency helps us provide accurate diagnoses and tailor treatments specifically for you.

Key points to prepare for your visit:

  • Avoid Erectile Dysfunction Medication: Do not take any ED medication for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
  • Abstain from Drugs: Refrain from using medicinal or recreational drugs for 36 hours prior to your visit.
  • Time Commitment: Allocate approximately 90 minutes for your visit. This time includes a comprehensive and confidential medical evaluation, diagnostic testing, and potentially a test dose of medication if deemed medically necessary.
  • Plan for Afterwards: Consider planning something special for after your appointment, such as picking up flowers. A little thoughtfulness can go a long way.
What Should I Bring To My Appointment?

To make the most out of your visit and ensure that we provide you with the best possible care, please bring the following items:

  • Medical History & List of Medications: This information is crucial as we custom-blend your medication based on your specific needs.
  • Photo ID: Bring your driver’s license or another government-issued photo ID.
  • Payment Method: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, personal checks, and cash. Please note that we do not process insurance claims in the clinic.
  • Your Partner (Optional): If comfortable, bring your partner along. They can provide valuable insights that may assist in your treatment.
Can I Use My HSA For Payment?

Yes, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) are an accepted form of payment at our clinic. Alongside HSA payments, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, personal checks, and cash. Please note that we do not process insurance claims in the clinic.

Will My Privacy Be Maintained?

Whether through conducting most tests and lab work in-house or using advanced encryption technology to secure your medical records, we go to great lengths to ensure your confidentiality. If you have any specific concerns regarding your privacy, feel free to contact us directly.

What Are Your Hours Of Operation?

We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Walk-ins are accepted until 3:30 PM each weekday. However, to minimize wait times and ensure prompt service, we recommend scheduling an appointment in advance.

Do I Need To Fast Before My Appointment?

For most of our services, fasting is not necessary. However, if your evaluation requires specific lab tests that involve blood work, fasting might be recommended. We will inform you ahead of time if fasting is required for your appointment.

How Soon Will I See Results?

Results can vary depending on the individual and the type of treatment. However, many of our patients experience significant improvements during their first visit. Our team will discuss realistic expectations and timelines with you during your consultation.

Can I Bring A Friend, Partner, Or Family Member To My Appointment?

Yes, you are welcome to bring a friend or family member for support. While this is entirely optional, having someone you trust with you can make the process more comfortable. Your privacy remains our priority, and any information shared during the visit will be kept confidential.

What If I Need To Reschedule?

If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. We understand that life happens, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. Rescheduling in advance helps us manage our appointments and reduce wait times for all patients.

Do You Offer Payment Options For Ongoing Treatment?

For ongoing treatment, we offer various payment plans to help make your care more affordable. We also accept major credit cards, personal checks, and cash. While we do not process insurance, many of our patients use HSA accounts to cover treatment costs. Please ask us about our payment plan options during your visit.
